THe room was cleaned every day, so it was really clean. very nice hotel. Even though the hotel is old, it is well-kept.

Even though we had purchased a swimming pool, we couldn't get into it one day because the number of places was full, which is strange because the hotel is large and should be prepared for such an eventuality. Unfortunately, there was no mini bar in the room in the form of coffee, tea or water sachets, and the fridge didn't work either.

The reception area is smart. The bed was comfy

The shower had very little water coming out of the shower head. The lift was faulty which was very inconvenient at 1am when I got there.

Very Good

Helpful staff, nice breakfast, air-conditioning on at all time helping keep room nice and cool in unbelievably high temperatures in August.

Swimming pool closing a bit early, could be more entertainment for young kids.

No taxi was being arranged when we couldn't find taxi . Even we were offering to prepay taxi but still they didn't arrange for us. Waiting at campanelle railway station we walked to hotel with our trolleys for 2.5kms in the evening. Terrible experience. And upon checkin when we booked two rooms they said we booked only one room and made the checkin really long .

Covid impact on low price to value received

Great structure. But... Covid reduced the service to below minimum. We booked one night plus breakfast. Price was pre-Covid level. Bedroom extra clean, as usual. But breakfast in paper bag to take away - tea bag, supermarket Bauli croissant, fete biscotate, piccollo burro e marmelata, mini yogurt di frutta, bottle of water. No coffee possibility. Breakfast price is as in pre-Covid times. No personnell, apart from receptionist. Covid rules dhoul be better organised for the price we paid. Parking closed. I hope this scarcity is temporary short-term. As Hotel in general is really good from all aspects. But this was before Covid. Best wishes for fast changes for better.

this is a glorified hostel at it's best

The room was spacious and clean with minor exceptions. what you normally expect from a 4 stars hotel.

while we were checking in we were informed that breakfast (which we paid extra for) was just a lunch box in a bag that will be dropped at our door in the morning. we asked for the bar (which is standard in a 4-star hotel) they gave us the address of the neighborhood bar! we asked for the restaurant and they gave us the address for the nearby restaurants! the minibar in the room was empty and you can only get water from the vending machine downstairs. coffee too. there was no line for room service, only the reception. and when I asked the reception about this they said this is the policy and there's nothing they can do about it! mind you this is a 4 stars hotel! there were no extra pillows in the room. The AC was barely working and noisy. the bathtub had rust on it. I would have liked it if I was expecting a hostel.

Perfect location to stay outside of busy Rome centre, but within close reach of public transport.

Good hotel to stay in Rome if you do not want to be in the centre of the city. There is a short walk from the hotel to a bus stop of line 118 that in 20+ minutes gets you directly to all the important places, and it stops right next to the Colosseo. If you need directions, just ask the hotel staff - they were all super friendly and helpful. I can't complement them enough. Hotel facilities are fine, nothing to complaint about. WiFi was of decent quality, I even managed to stream video :) Breakfast was on the average side, but all fresh - great pastry and coffee! Hotel is not new, and it may need some refurbishing, but it was all clean, and rooms were cleaned every day. Hotel is located in suburb of Rome, quiet and calm area. And there are a few bonuses to stay there: 1. There is an aqueduct nearby, in a walking distance from the hotel (~20 min), with green area around it. Perfect for a nice walk after busy day visiting Rome. 2. If you go further toward the Red metro line, after the next 20 min you reach Cinecita, A must-visit spot for all fans of great cinema. This place is a history. 3. If you are hungry, there is a nice pizza place nearby, L'angolo del sapore, Via Squillace, 68. Friendly owner, and a perfect pizza! Thank you!

Free parking lots were available close to the hotel, Breakfast area was quite large. Administration satisfied our request for adjacent rooms. We did not face any trouble with the facilities.

Renovation and some refreshment of the rooms and coridors, as well as facilities would be helpful. Breakfast menu could be a little bit richer considering it was a 4 star hotel. Lack of electric sockets.

Lovely breakfast, good value, needs softer bed.

Good value compared to many places on Rome, but don’t expect a soft bed, because they aren’t!

Beds and pillows came from the ancient Roman Empire, I think. Flat and hard.

Good location

Basic but comfortable room located a bus ride away (118 service) into central Rome. Don’t forget to purchase bus ticket from local tobacco shop and stamp it upon bus departure. Staff were quick to move us (room wise) as air con in first room wasn’t working properly. Terzo Gusto (restaurant) was an excellent find (10 minutes walk) from the hotel offering freshly made to order Italian cuisine and very reasonably priced. Excellent service! We visited twice. If the locals rate it; it’s surely a good find.
